Assistant Professor: £34,956 - £46,924, Associate Professor: £49,772 - £59,400 per annum (pro rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance

Application are invited for the above role based at the University's Jubilee Campus.

 

The post supports the School’s work in the area of special and inclusive education.  The School of Education has a successful MA in Special and Inclusive Education, delivered in both face-to-face and online forms and on our campus in Malaysia. This role supports this programme by providing teaching, curriculum development, module leadership and quality assurance. It also supports other areas of the School’s teaching portfolio, such as research student supervision and the new BA (hons) Education.

 

Candidates should hold a masters degree in a relevant area and a PhD or equivalent in a relevant area (completed or near to completion). Assistant Professor candidates should also have proven competence in teaching in the area of special and Inclusive Education. Associate Professor candidates should also have proven leadership in the area of Special and Inclusive Education.

 

This is a permenant post. Hours for the role are full time (36.25 hours per week) however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 21.75 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.
