The guest professor should 

  • On the themes of Norwegian-German cultural relations in the extension of Henrik Steffens' research and teaching,
  • To develop and deepen scientific cooperation between Norway and Germany, especially in the humanities, social and cultural sciences, and
  • The cultural and scientific contacts between Norway and Germany


Candidates must meet the requirements according to § 113 in conjunction with § 100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (ie, should be qualified as a professor or "førsteamanuensis"). 


In addition, you must be familiar with the German and Norwegian languages and should be familiar with German and Norwegian culture. A German-Norwegian commission decides on the selection.
