Three-hour Stipendiary Lecturership in English

Brasenose College wishes to appoint a three-hour Stipendiary Lecturer for 12 months (three University terms) from 1 October 2017. The person appointed will co-ordinate with Dr Eleanor Parker to teach the literature element of the Introduction to Language and Literature paper for first-year students. She/he will also provide selected tutorials and classes on Victorian Literature (1832-1910) and Modern Literature (1910 to the present day) in co-ordination with Dr Sos Eltis. The lecturer will also be required to participate in student admissions and to assist generally in the running of English in collaboration with the Tutors in English.

 

The salary scale will be within the range £6,513 - £7,325 p.a., according to qualifications and experience.
