Special Education university teacher role
Task ranks Teachers, teaching and educational institutions - research unit.
University teacher's duties include within the framework of an annually agreed work plan of education, guidance and development of special education in the region. The task requires a suitable master's degree and good teaching skills.
The successful accomplishment of the task requires special education and related expertise in guiding the teaching and teaching practice experience. The benefit shall be familiarity with the challenges of governance and socio-emotional development, as well as a research orientation.
Remuneration is based on the university salary system for teaching and research staff's demand level 4-5. In addition, will be paid a salary component based on personal performance, which is no more than 46.3% of the job part.
University teacher complies with 1624 hours of total work time.
The task is designed to meet since 01.08.2017. Employment followed a four-month probationary period.
University of Oulu instruction and examination language is Finnish. Teaching the English language is also possible. Applicants English skills for specific attention.

to assess teaching skills, applicants are requested to enclose with the application of teaching merits of presenting a teaching portfolio. Teaching skills is estimated on the basis of the portfolio and possible teaching demonstration. The portfolio or the report should be followed the outline set out in Annex.
to evaluate scientific work of the applicant may enclose the list of publications where the applicant can demonstrate the task of filling the 6 most important publications and a brief description to date of research activities and plan future research.
