The successful applicant will cover the area named above in research and teaching.
Appointment requirements are governed by Article 100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetz).
Candidates will have an international teaching and research profile. She or he will have experience in acquiring funding for and conducting sponsored research.
The appointee will consider functional topics, sociolinguistic issues and/or empirical methods in research and teaching. The appointee will be responsible for conducting courses in the bachelor’s degree program German Philology, in the master’s degree program Linguistics, and in other degree programs of the institute. The selectee will be committed to the development of future research alliances.
Applications quoting the reference code should include a CV, copies of all certificates of academic qualification, a list of publications, evidence of teaching competence (such as courses previously taught) as well as of involvement in ongoing and future research endeavors, joint research projects and externally funded projects. If applicable, applications should also include information on industrial cooperations, inventions/patents and spin-offs.
