Salary: $95,434 - $134,792 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

 

The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) seeks to appoint an innovative and committed Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Music (Performance - Clarinet) who will make a significant contribution to the teaching, coordination and provision of undergraduate and graduate music degrees. The appointee will provide educational leadership for clarinet offerings through the teaching of individual clarinet lessons and specialist woodwind electives, and undertake artistic research in performance or research related to woodwind pedagogy, or another related field. 

 

You will be an acclaimed woodwind teacher with an outstanding profile in the field of music performance and experience teaching at the University level. You will have the ability to mentor woodwind students in large and small ensembles and the capacity to assess auditions and music performance examinations.
